USD 250 Antigen Testing

ANTIGEN TESTING

In an effort to help staff and students stay in the classroom and participate in activities,  USD 250 has a central testing site for staff members and students. This program is voluntary and a parent/guardian will determine if their child will participate.

Who can be tested:
Only USD 250 staff members, including SEK Interlocal 637 staff members who work at USD 250, and USD 250 students will have the opportunity to use the antigen testing program.

When should I be tested:
There are two different reasons to use the USD 250 Antigen Testing Program:

Test to know: Antigen testing is available to students and staff who are: symptomatic or want to confirm they are not putting others at risk prior to contact with an immune-compromised or high-risk individual.

Test to stay & participate: Students/staff who are exhibiting symptoms or may be in contact with someone who is identified as a positive may choose to participate in the USD 250 Antigen Testing Program. An individual who is not symptomatic and with a negative antigen test may continue to participate in the classroom and/or their activity.

COMMUNITY TESTING SITES

Community members can still make an appointment for testing at the Community Health Clinic of Southeast Kansas by appointment only. Appointments are currently 2-3 days out.  CHC/SEK is only testing those individuals who are experiencing systems at this current time. You may schedule an appointment by calling 620-231-9873.
